VikiTech is looking for technology bloggers!
VikiTech is an upcoming tech blog which is rapidly making inroads into Internet and tech savvy users' daily reading. We write about a large range
of personal technology topics, but our main focus is on news, Windows, software
reviews, web apps, how-to guides and mobile coverage.
With over 20k RSS and e-mail subscribers and over 180k Facebook Fans within a couple of years, we strike a chord with our readers.
We are specifically looking for writers who can cover a wide variety of tech related topics. We already have a huge community of Windows users and
would like to increase our footprint in the Mobile community as well.
Expectations from applicants for technology blogger position:
- Passionate about new technologies and knowledgeable about the
Internet and social networking.
- Ability to thoroughly cover a wide variety of topics in detail in easy
to understand language.
- Must own a Windows system. Candidates having a
Mac as well get plus points.
- Ability to write reviews, detailed how-to articles and news
updates.
- Ability to work independently and in a team with minimum supervision.
The ideal candidate should have
1 to 2 years experience in online content publishing and social networking,
with a passion for helping others.
Should have basic knowledge/skills of:
- WordPress CMS publishing
- Understanding of SEO
- Multimedia production/editing including photo (audio and video is a
plus, but not mandatory)
- Proficient social sharing skills

Responsibilities:
- Create, write and edit at least thirty evergreen posts each month.
- Research new and innovative content topics in
co-ordination with the editors.
This is a pay per post position, and we have room for multiple bloggers with different areas of focus.
The position comes with an initial probation period of three months during which you would be a contributing writer.
